What moves the price

What the surface is
Block paving needs re-sanding afterwards. Soft stone and timber need lower pressure and more time. Concrete is the quickest of the lot.

Why do you publish prices when nobody else does?
Because everyone asks the same question first and it is annoying to have to ring to find out. The numbers here are genuine starting prices, not bait. The final figure depends on size and condition, which is why a photo gets you an exact price rather than a range.
Is the price fixed before you start?
Yes. You get a number in writing before anything happens and that is what you pay. If something unexpected turns up mid-job you get told before it is done, not billed for it afterwards.
Do you charge for travel?
Not in Blackburn or Darwen, which is the home patch. Further out is quoted with the travel already included, so the number you are given is the number you pay.
Is it cheaper to have more than one thing done?
Yes, noticeably. Most of the cost of a small job is getting there and setting up. Adding gutters or windows to a drive clean while the van is already outside is much better value than three separate visits.
How do I pay?
On the day the work is finished. Bank transfer or cash, whichever suits. Commercial customers get a proper invoice for the books.
